A few weeks ago, I announced on my Facebook page why I've been on a slight hiatus:
That's right! We're adding another member to our little fam-jam this September! Like my previous pregnancies, this one didn't spare me all the lovely first-trimester symptoms. I was bed-ridden for the first few months, and all of my crochet was put on the back burner.
Now that I'm feeling like a functional (albeit waddling and round) human being, I have been able to slowly work away at some new patterns! Typically I've exclusively stuck to ami, but my mind has been bursting with ideas for things to make for this new little nugget, and finally I'm stepping outside my comfort zone with pattern design.
Baby Bunting Sack is my newest pattern release that is coming this Saturday! This pattern includes Preemie/Newborn & 3-6 Month sizes, as well as Teddy Bear or Bunny ear alternatives! The yarn used is a light 3 weight yarn (I used Bernat Softee Baby) so it worked up soft to baby's touch. Using a 3 weight yarn, it allows the bunting sack to work up in a light weight fashion and can be worn safely buckled up in carseat.
Seriously, how freaking adorable is guy?
